Uddevalla is a port on the west coast of Sweden, once an important herring fishing port, then a ship building town, now one of Sweden’s biggest bulk cargo handling facilities. The motocross track is based at the kart track complex and is noteworthy for the rock face that overlooks the circuit. This the locals climb to make what is probably the most unique grandstand in the series. The circuit itself is one of the shorter on the schedule and made technical by the circuit preparation, whereby truckloads of sand is laid over a hardpack base. The nearest airport is Gothenburg City some 100km away. To drive to the circuit from Gothenburg Airport take the E6 north in the direction of Uddevalla and Oslo, exit at nr96 direction Uddevalla South.
